ALBANIA
Albanian National Opera closes over the weekend and will issue new regulations at the beginning of next week.
ARGENTINA
Teatro Colón has cancelled its performances until 19 April.
AUSTRIA
Government has closed all theatres until 1 April and called an emergency state. Rehearsals are suspended and employees work from home where possible.
AZERBAIJAN
Since 14 March a declared state of emergency restricts public events, including all activities at the Opera house in Baku until further notice.
BELGIUM
Government has closed schools, hotels, restaurants and cafés, museums and other cultural venues such as cinemas and theatres. Rehearsals are suspended and employees work from home where possible.
BULGARIA
Sofia Opera cancelled performances and rehearsals between 8 March and 14 April.
CROATIA
Theatres are closed until 17 April
CZECH REPUBLIC
Theatres throughout the country are closed until further notice.
DENMARK
No performances and rehearsals until the beginning of April
ESTONIA
Estonian National Opera’s performances, excursions and educational projects are cancelled due to the national state of emergency until the end of April.
FINLAND
Government suggest that until 31st May 2020
- All events with more than 500 spectators will be prohibited.
- That organizations carefully consider cancelling all events, even with less than 500 spectators.
Finnish National Opera cancelled performances and rehearsals until 14 April.
FRANCE
Government has limited gatherings to max. 100 people until further notice, leading to the temporary closure of all our member theatres at least until the beginning of April.
Opera de Lille has cancelled his performances until 28 April. The Opera is closed from 16 March
GERMANY
Performances as well as rehearsals are widely suspended in the theatres over the whole country, with variations due to the federalistic administration. Hamburgisches Staatstheater won’t open the stages until 30 April, Oper Leipzig counts on reopening on 11 April for the moment. Most houses schedule their reopening after the easter break.
GREECE
Greek National Opera has suspended and postponed their performances.
HUNGARY
Government has prohibited events over 100 people indoors.
Hungarian State Opera has cancelled performances until 3 April. Rehearsals are cancelled.
ICELAND
Icelandic Opera suspended their activities, rehearsals are cancelled and employees work from home where possible.
IRELAND
Following Government advice regarding indoor mass gatherings of more than 100 people, the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will be closed until 29 March and all performances of Irish National Opera’s 'Carmen' are cancelled
ISRAEL
Performances and rehearsals are cancelled until further notice
ITALY
Government has banned public gatherings throughout the whole country until the first week of April, all theatres are closed.
KAZAKHSTAN
Government declared a state of emergency, which leaves the Theatres in the country closed.
LITHUANIA
Lithuanian National Opera: All performances are cancelled until 27 March, rehearsals until 20 March
LATVIA
Latvian National Opera: Everything is cancelled till April 14, 2020
MALTA
Maltese Government has requested the cancellation of all public indoor gatherings.
Gozo / Teatru Aurora: The theatre is closed for visits, the next performance on 25 April cancelled. Date of reopening will be announced following Government instructions.
NETHERLANDS
it is prohibited to hold gatherings with more than 100 people in the Netherlands until 31 march.
Dutch National Opera has canceled all performances with the public until March 31, 2020 The rehearsals with less than 100 people continue as usual and the workshops continue to work on the following productions, ballet tour has been called off immediately. DNO&B is currently investigating the possibilities of recording performances without public and broadcasting them via the internet.

ROH Muscat cancelled all performances until further notice.
POLAND
Government has ordered to shut down all venues and public activities.
Polish National Opera have cancelled performances and rehearsals until 25 March.
RUSSIA
Government restrictions on travel of foreign artists.
In Moscow all performances are cancelled until April 10th.
SERBIA
State of emergency implying the closure of all theatres to audiences and staff.
SPAIN
State of emergency implying the closure of all theatres to audiences and staff.
SWEDEN
Government has limited gatherings to 500 people.
Royal Swedish Opera has cancelled their performances until 29 March
Gothenburg: Regional authority in West Sweden suspended performances until further notice and the theatre is also closed for staff
SWITZERLAND
Theatres throughout the whole country are closed and rehearsals called off until at least 4 April.
UKRAINE
Performances are cancelled until the beginning of April at least.
UNITED KINGDOM
Restrictions are expected during this week.
English National Opera and Royal Opera House Covent Garden cancelled all performances until further notice.
Scottish Opera cancelled and postponed the performances and tours planned until July 2020
