The Moravian Theatre Olomouc is an integral part of the cultural events in Olomouc and the Olomouc Region and has ambitions to become an important cultural centre beyond the borders of the region and abroad.
As the only theatre in Central and Eastern Moravia, the Moravian Theatre Olomouc boasts three artistic ensembles and their own orchestra. On stage you can see productions of drama, ballet and opera, as well as operettas, musicals, dance galas and fairy tales. The Moravian Theatre Olomouc prides itself on the diversity of our dramaturgy and selection of authors, so they present not only classical titles, but also lesser-known works, original works or modern adaptations.
