Beyond the services developed for its members, Opera Europa has launched or collaborated on several initiatives.
Opera Europa works closely with OPERA America and Opera Latinoamérica. Common projects include the World Opera Forum which was held in Madrid in April 2018 and World Opera Day, celebrated on 25 October each year.
Opera Europa partners with Camerata Nuova, a Wiesbaden-based association of opera supporters, on managing and promoting the European Opera-directing Prize.
Opera Europa's Opera Management Course offers an intensive week of training to promising young professionals.
Opera Europa collaborates with FEDORA, the European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet, in planning joint events for the Fundraising forum and contributing experts to the FEDORA Prizes juries.
Opera Europa has commissioned Operabook, a custom-made search tool for artists, roles and productions developed following the recommendation of its Artistic Administration forum, in collaboration with IAMA and AEAA's ClassicalMusicArtists.
Opera Europa is the lead partner in OperaVision, a free streaming platform dedicated to Opera, offering regular full performances streamed live and on-demand from over 30 opera companies. This project is supported by the European Union's Creative Europe programme.
