Opera Europa is one of the 11 proud members of the INSPIRE consortium, a project which has been granted Erasmus+ funding from the European Union as an Alliance for Innovation.
The INSPIRE Alliance is an innovative and holistic approach to educating and supporting production managers, set designers, artistic and stage directors, facilities managers, stage technicians and sustainability managers that are working or want to work in the performing arts industry, so as all to become more sustainable, digitalised and resilient and create and offer sustainable performance productions to the communities.
This Alliance includes 3 Higher Education Institutions and Vocational Education Training initiatives and 8 labour market actors, so that the needs of the industry and the methods of the training specialists can come together to propose a curriculum that responds to today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. Over the next 3 years, the partners will be working together towards the conception, development and launch of a recognised International Certification for the INSPIRE Training Programme.
The INSPIRE project combines the best curricular and pedagogical practices of academic and VET into a single, integrated program and provides new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning, by offering the right skills, knowledge and competences through short and tailored training experiences, by deploying modern learning methods, such as blended-, micro- and hybrid- learning, via the INSPIRE Practical Handbook for VET/HEIs providers, the Online Training Programme for professionals and the Virtual Learning Platform.
