OPERA America joins forces with Operabook
From upcoming season, all OPERA America professional company members will be featured on Operabook, and access to the production (including rentals) and casting tools, as well as the Future New Productions database, will be included in the larger companies’ OPERA America membership.
Further developing on its partnership with IAMA and AEAA’s ClassicalMusicArtists.com, with the support of national and international artists associations and national opera organisations, Operabook therefore grows its content and user-base, affirming its position as the professional tool for opera professionals.
Dance on Operabook
Building on the launch of Opera Europa’s Dance forum, members will now be able to add their dance programme to Operabook, allowing to search for performances to programme on tour and in host theatres.
A tutorial on inputting your dance productions will be held on Thursday 13 June at 11.00 CET. Register with audrey@opera-europa.org
New features – search filter for creative roles
Operabook is initially conceived to help administrators of opera and ballet companies in their daily work – from searching an artist familiar with a particular repertoire and reaching their agent as soon as possible to finding an appropriate production for a future season through rental or co-production. Features therefore evolve with our users’ requests. The latest trick allows you to search for creative roles such as conductors, choreographers, or stage designers!
