Staatstheater Regensburg is Bavaria's largest municipal multi-genre theatre with its own ensembles for music theatre, drama, dance and young theatre as well as its own philharmonic orchestra and opera choir. The approximately 700 performances reach up to 180,000 spectators a year in the five venues, which are regularly supplemented by unusual outdoor locations.
